Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Pursed his lips in a tight line, while he took his eyes up and down the bar, looking around for somebody to take his order. Was in the mood for just a simple blood wine, but fat chance in hell that a tender would be present. And even if there had been one there, he/she would have, more than likely, ignored his presence, like everybody else tried to do around here. Taking the snake from his shoulders, holding him in his arms. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Not allowing him to slide down onto the bar, keeping the Guardian close to his chest. Allowed him to look around, but that was all. Speaking to him quietly in their telepathy, and to all eyes it still looked as though he were silent and just standing there. His humming had stopped a while ago, and now he just stood there, leaning his elbows on the bar with a quiet sigh, using his hand to rest his chin on. Where in the hell was the tender? (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Probably off getting drunk somewhere else, instead of where he should be, which was here, taking the orders of those who were waiting at the bar. There were quite a few of them now. Looked at the people around him, taking a seat at one of the bar stools, and continuing his wait from there. Wasn't going to wait much longer. With his Guardian in his lap, he sighed for not the last time tonight. He would leave soon, if the tender didn't show. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Until he left, however, he would take a look around from where he was sitting. Folks went here and there, speaking to eachother. Others sat firmly in their chairs, sipping their beers and other alcohol beverages. Hardly any of them seemed worthy of his time. Most of the humans he hated, and so far, what he saw, they were no different. A shrug came from him, his oddly colored blue eyes always seeming sorrowful or thoughtful, sweeping them around again.
crystal_dragon_esmeradin sits up from the barstool and looks around, her little four foot form coiled comfortably on the stools cushion as she tilted her head and looked around. Her little silver blue eyes narrowed as she didnt really see anyone that she felt comfortable talking to and climbed out of the stool and hopped onto the bartable, walking along the edge of the table to keep the washing down some for the keeper. Her little form covering her millions of crystal scales and her wings tight to her back as she walked along.
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents For a minute, he thought that his eyes were playing tricks on him. Because he thought he saw someone not that tall, small enough to be able to take a ride comfortably on his hand, walking along the bar. If she were searching for the tender, she was wasting her time, and he didn't see the harm in letting her know. Tucking away his Guardian, so the snake would not be tempted to snatch up the little creature, he leaned towards her. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Squinting his eyes, looking at the beautiful scales that covered her body, and the little wings that he, for some reason, thought to fit her. "There's no tender, if you're looking for him. I've been waiting for one for a while, he has yet to show up. If you can," not trying to say she was too small to help herself, "You're better off getting your own drink. If you keep waiting for it, you're going to be here for a bit." Left her alone after that.
crystal_dragon_esmeradin laughed softly as he didnt realise she could change forms as she slipped to her human form, her legs crossed and dangleing off the edge of the table as she tilted her head and reached behind where she sat to pull a bottle of wine out of behind the bartable and popped it open with her thumb, her silver blue eyes catlike watching Elijah for a moment as she smiled a shy crookedly at him as she hopped off the bartable and pulled at the soft white gown she had on almost any time she was in human form, her long sleeves covered slim arms and nearly covered her fragile hands as well but she flicked the sleeves up as she put down the bottle of open wine and nodded to Elijha. Her silver hair fell about her face framing it, the lengths of her tresses fell down her back tho (c)
crystal_dragon_esmeradin brushing at the tops of her thighs as she spoke, her voice soft but husky, "Thank yee but I think I have it handled." Her eyes twinkled in mischive as she sat down at the stool she had perched on previously and bent her knees so she may perch her feet on the bottom bar of the stool. Her fingers brushing back her wild silver hair from her face as she took the bottle and sipped on it...just testing the flavour of the gentle honey wine that she had chanced to grab from the bartable.
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Cocked his head while he watched the woman sitting on the bar, at first as small as could be. Small enough that he had to squint to see her. And watching her rapidly change to a full-grown woman made him blink more than once, more than twice. It made him blink three times, and then do a double take. Was it possible to change forms that quickly? She must have been on in years, and quite experienced, to do it quickly. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Perplexed by her, he moved a stool closer to her. There had been an empty stool between them, and he closed the gap of the stool in a matter of seconds. It was clear to Crystal that he was still a young man, no older than 17, at best. What caught her attention were the oddly colored blue eyes, that were many things at once. They gave off the appearance that his soul was older than the body that he was stuck in. Much, much older. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Within the eyes was more sorrow than she could remember seeing in someone that looked to be so young. Thoughtfulness, and intelligence, flickered in the center of his eyes, blending with the odd blue color of his eyes. Leaned a little closer to her, Mautiausi's little black eyes narrowed on the being that he didn't trust as far as he could throw. "Can I ask you something? It's a bit.. personal, but I want to ask you the question anyway." (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Motioning with his hand towards the bar, where she'd been sitting, before she had changed into a human form, he asked his question. "How did you.. do that, so quick? Do you have to be old, or wise, or a combonation of both to be able to change forms that quickly?" Stopped asking questions after that, forcing his mouth to close and his ears to listen. It was hard to contain himself when he was eager to know or learn something.
crystal_dragon_esmeradin a half smile traced her full lips as she tilted her head, her silver hair fell to carress her right cheek as she flicked her eyes at the black beady eyes that stared at her from Elijahs coat.."Lets just say I have been around for a very long time and know my strengths very well." as she gave him a quick wink that seemed to be just a flick of the dark lashes that framed her silver blue eyes, the catslits narrowed as she chuckled softly. "Old yes...but not too old to forget how to hide myself well."
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Listened to what she had to say, his hands folded in his lap, his eyes straying on her's. Had a habit of looking people in the eyes when he talked to them. From the time of his parents deaths, without anybody to belittle him or tell him to look elsewhere when he was talking to them, he looked people in their eyes, when he was talking to them. To let them know that he was listening, and that they weren't just wasting their breath on him. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Realized that he hadn't exactly flattered her by calling her old. Winced visibly as he realized the way that he had posed the question. Knew that he could have asked it better, but again, he had spoken before he'd thought about what he was going to say. It was a fault of his. He would say things, before he forgot them, and think about the consequences of his words afterwards. It was something that he knew he had to change, soon. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents "What.. exactly, are you? A dragon? Half-dragon? I haven't seen many dragons around." He hadn't seen any around, if he thought about it. The Black Mamba flicked its tongue at Crystal and slowly wrapped itself around Elijah's wrist, while keeping his black eyes on the being in question. It was a clear message to not try to harm Elijah, or she wouldn't like what happened afterwards. Getting after Mautiausi for acting that way.
crystal_dragon_esmeradin laughed, as she slapped her hands onto her lap. Her hair flowed softly with her movements as she bent forward in laughter..once she caught her breath again as she leaned back and smiled at him broadly, her teeth slightly pointed and sharp, glistening white.."You can tell your compainion I have no intentions to harm anyone. As for my race...I am older than the dragon...but I was given the dragon form when I was still a whelp. So I suppouse you can call me of the Draconic race."
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents "Will you stop it, Mautiausi? If she was going to harm us, I believe she would have done so by now. Calm the hell down." Eyeing his companion like a friend would eye another friend who was about to get into trouble. "Don't put those hoods out, or I'll put you in my boot, and you can stay there until we leave." The snake calmed down, but not without another flicker of his black eyes over to Crystal, resting them on her. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Moved his gaze back over to Crystal and smiled sheepishly, cracking his knuckles out of nervousness, as he usually did when he was talking to somebody new, or didn't know exactly what to say. "He knows, he's just being protective. Sometimes people threaten us, or go out of their way to let us know that we're not welcome. He's just protective because of memories like that." Caressing the top of the snake's head thoughtfully. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents "How long can your kind live, then, if you're older than dragons, and I'm guessing, can live a lot longer than them?" The dragons that he had read about lived for as long as they could, usually until they died of old age, or dying because they were killed. She was ancient, but she was wise as well, and only intrigued him, the more they talked and got to know eachother. Feeling his snake relax around his wrist a minute later.
crystal_dragon_esmeradin chuckled softly as she turned to face Elijah fully. Her face was exotic in shape, almost like an elves in appearance but the eyes...the eyes gave away what she was without a single word. Her agelessness was because of what she was not who she was. Not just dragon in blood but one of the six that created the dragon race. Her hair slipped from her shoulders to frame her face again as she turned to her bottle of wine and sipped at it for a moment in thought.."To be honest...I dont really know how long we can live. The oldest draconic that I know is still alive today, and he was around to be blinded by the sun when it was first created." She laughs softly as she sipped at her wine again. Her smile was still there even as she drank deeply of her bottle.
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Stared at her hard for a minute, confusion flickering between the sorrow and the intelligence that were shining continously in his eyes. She was older than he had thought the first time, and it almost made him smile. To think that something as wise and as ancient as she was, was sitting there, having a normal, everyday conversation with him. And was treating him as though she had known him everyday of her life. She wasn't that bad. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Considering the people that he'd met in here, she really wasn't that bad. He could get used to talking to her again, if he ever saw her around here again. Hoped that she would show her face around here again. It would give him another reason to come 'round here, other than to look for someone to eat, or someone to have fun with. Which usuaully meant that he'd torture a human, until he got bored with them, and ended their life. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents "Do you guys.. and girls.. feel the affects of aging? Seems kinda like a stupid question. If your friend's been around since the sun came to be, I'd have to guess that if he does feel his age, that it's happening very slowly, or so slowly that he doesn't really notice it happening." Shrugged his shoulders, running his hands down the length of the snake's body, who was already getting to be an impressive length, in the time he'd found Elijah.
crystal_dragon_esmeradin stunned to deep thought as she concidered this...she had not thought of this before as she popped her jaw in a yawn...her eyes closeing for a moment as she concidered his question.."I dont think he is really effected by it himself...I do tend to feel it sometimes...but not that often...its usually in the memory area that it really effects me...while the last I had heard he was feeling it in his joints but not as much as the elder dragons do." Her hand brushed through her hair as she scratched at the lobe of her ear and purrs softly at the feeling. "Mmmm O sorry I tend to get lost in things like that everyday...I am a bit of a scatter brain at times." She laughed a bit at her own afliction, not at all embarassed about it only giving him fair warning.
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Shrugged at her again, not finding it a problem that she would ramble on at times. He did it, too, and couldn't blame her for it. She was just lucky that he hadn't started doing it yet, or she'd end up being here a while, listening to him go on and on. And he was willing to be that she had other things to do, than to sit here and listen to his rambles. Fidgeted with his hands as they rested in his lap, squeezing Mautiausi in his grip gently. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents "It's not a problem. I do it, too. I'm surprised I haven't come close to boring you to death yet." Smiled a little at her, popping his knuckles out of nervousness again, wondernig if she was bored with him yet, and if she was thinking about leaving, if she was bored by the likes of him. But her information about dragons drew him again, just when he was getting ready to flee from the interesting conversation. Frowning a bit at her. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents "He's starting to feel the affects of the aging? Is he okay?" Why in the hell was he concerned about another being that had nothing to do with him, and whom didn't even know that he, Elijah, exsisted? Quickly shook himself out of the state of mind that he had been in, and strayed from the question, Is he okay? Swerving his eyes to Crystal again, chewing on the inside of his lip. "Does your friend, as a dragon, have.. claws?"
crystal_dragon_esmeradin giggling a bit at the childish nature of his questions and the innocense they were asked as she smiled at Elijah.."Yes he has claws, as do I when I am in dragon form...we all do in fact of the draconic blood." Tiling her head a bit as she drank the last of the wine and put down the glass bottle gently as not to break it, the glass seemed paper thin to her and appeared to be like that of a bubble. Thin and beautiful to look at altho it was fragile in every way."As for his wellbeing he is alright, he keeps to warm places to avoid his joints from bothering him too much." I may not have the joint troubles but my memories have been fading somewhat. But I have my mate to keep me from forgetting completely and my many children who scatter this earth, hunting careing for their own whelps."
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Blinked, perplexed at the mention that she had kids. Her eyes may have revealed that she was older than she appeared to be, but she didn't look like she could be older than 20, 25. She was married, and she had kids as well? Rubbed his forehead, thinking a little more about what she had said. Kids, and a husband. She couldn't be that old, could she? True, you didn't have to be old to have kids, or to be married. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents But with the way she was talking about it, and the fact that her own kids were raising families of their own, and that she had grandkids, made him blink, and think harder than he had been thinking before. Things aren't always what they seem, and if ever in his life he had come across an experience that matched that phrase, this was it. Lifting Mautiausi to the end of his jacket arm, the snake sliding out of sight into the warm jacket. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents "Kids, and a husband? I don't think I'll ever get married. My parents didn't really want me around, when I was growing up, and before they died, they were treating as worse than they ever had.. After watching them, I don't think I want to get married, or even think of kids. I think it'll just be me and Mautiausi." The idea was appealing to him. He'd had that plan in mind from the day Mautiausi had found him. It would be just them forever.
crystal_dragon_esmeradin taken aback as he spoke of how he was treated in the past and shook her head slowly..."How can one do that to a child...even one such as you..." She lowered her head a bit as she played with teh lip of the bottle that she had set down a few moments before..."I do understand what you went through..." her brow wrinkled as she realised in a way she did...even tho she had no parents to recall she remembered how the mortals treated her as a whelp and how many of her siblings were killed off because of their intense hatered of anything not human or natural in their eyes.
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Uncomfortable with talking about his parents to somebody outside of his family. She wasn't a human, though, and she was intelligent. She spoke thoughtfully and with great intelligence. That, above all over things, seemed to radiate off of her, like it had replaced her aura. His shoulders lifted at her and then went back down, offering a small shrug. He wasn't human, and had his suspcions that she had known that for a while now. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents "Yeah, well.. I wasn't exactly.. planned.. And they didn't want me to be a boy, they wanted a girl." Running through the reasons he'd been given by his parents for why they didn't like him, or want him. Each of the reasons were more petty than the last, and though they weren't very good reasons, they were only thing that he had to go on, for all those years. He kept his sanity by realizing at an early age, that he didn't deserve it. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents "When my sister came alo-" Sharply stopped talking at that point, looking away from her. There was a silence that rested uncomfortably around them for a minute, disappearing when he thought of something else to talk about. "How old are your kids?" Obviously didn't want to talk about what he'd started to talk about anymore, and was leading her clearly away from a topic as painful as his sister. That topic was just too private.

crystal_dragon_esmeradin frowned a bit at Elijah as she tilted her head a bit and examined him while he spoke to her and shrugged lightly in her direction, she could tell by the way he acted, he felt to her as if he had been indepentant for a long time now. Curiosity perkulated with her as she listened to him, he seemed reluctant to speak of his own past and siblings, catching his halting on speaking of his sister as she tilted her head birdlike at him, not pressing on the issue unless he felt comfortable speaking to her. "They are a couple hundred years old now. My oldest recently became a preistess of the oracle house of Truth. My youngest is yet to be born..." as she pressed her small fragile hand on her belly, the small child forming within stirred to semiconscienousness, what it was is only known to her (c)
crystal_dragon_esmeradin . o O ( and only her alone, the father being a Chromatic dragon and herself a Crystaline. She smiled a bit at the thought of her youngest child, feeling the child whisper softly in her mind as she looked at Elijah. "I havent carried a child in this form yet, Ravenfyre is most pleased to know he is going to be a father yet again. This is our third to be carried, our second to be born." She fairly glowed with happiness as she rested a hand on Elijahs shoulder..."I have been told of the past of many children that had been left behind to survive on their own, many did not keep sanity after they became adults, it is a long hard journey and I know its difficult to find people to trust much less creatures." Her eyes lite as she watched his reactions..."I am surely one to be trusted. I am (c)RP )
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Memories had started to come back to him, talking about siblings and his past and his family. Even though it had been over a year since he had become a Hellsent, a year after he had killed his parents, for making him listen to his sister, only a couple months old, screaming and crying as she sufficated in that suitcase. Bit down into his lower lip, hard enough that he drew blood. Mautiausi looked up at him, swerving his eyes over to her. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents As though to say, Don't ask. It was a good piece of advice from someone who had looked at her with hate, but the message in his eyes was clearer than the sunlight in the middle of a day. Looked back at her, speaking about her kids like she was proud. His head leant to the side, slowly looking back over at her. Unaware that how he had been treated by his parents no less bothered her, or that she was concerned about him, either. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents It didn't occur to him that he should ask about her baby, or if she was okay. For a moment he was lost in his own thoughts about his former life. Lowered his eyes to her stomach, where he could see the baby moved slightly against her hands, reacting to her/his mother. Smiled slightly, his eyes staying on her stomach. "When are you going to have the baby?" Trying to forget for the moment about the pain of his sister and his old life.
crystal_dragon_esmeradin smiles at him unaware of his suffering in the past, afraid to ask to go into detail about his life, as she petted her belly softly.."Not yet but yes I am carrying. I do belive its going to be a boy." As she looked at him a bit, curious if the distant nature of his gaze..."Are you alright?" A concerned look on her face was almost discomforting for even her as she did not realise if he was hurting of something recent or not...but she refrained from going into his past with out his trust and permission..."Do you want to talk about it? What is your name anyway I never did catch it. You can call me Essy...all of my friends and family do anyway."
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Shook his head, Mautiausi nipping at his hands, telling him it was time to go. "I'm not ready to talk about it yet. What happened is kept safe within me, and I'm not going to talk about it yet." Shrugged his shoulders, sliding off of the stool. "My name's Elijah, and this is Mautiausi. It was nice meeting you, and talking to you, and I hope to see you again." Smiled faintly to her, his smile seeming less real than it had only a minute go. (C)
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Shook her hand, after sticking his out, and walked over to the door. Calling over his shoulder, "Good luck on the baby!" before he pushed the door open, and ducked out the door, into the darkness. His presence was gone, but it wouldn't be forgotten. Hoped that he would see her again, but for now he had to leave. The conversation had gotten too personal for him. Waved before he disappeared into the night, fading into the darkness.
Elijah_of_the_Hellsents Not allowing him to slide down onto the bar, keeping the Guardian close to his chest. Allowed him to look around, but that was all. Speaking to him quietly in their telepathy, and to all eyes it still looked as though he were silent and just standing there.
